HBNI Audio is an open-source broadcasting and archive service. We value transparency and keep data collection minimal.
What Data We Collect
- Playback statistics
Anonymous counts such as how often an archive is played and when it was last accessed. - Broadcast archives
Public broadcasts are recorded and archived. Private broadcasts are not recorded or stored.
Email Subscriptions
If you choose to subscribe to email alerts:
- We store your email address to send broadcast-related notifications.
- Email addresses are not shared or sold.
- You can unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe link in emails.
Support Requests
When you submit a support request:
- We collect the information you provide (name, email, issue details).
- This data is used only to respond to your request.
- Support messages are routed internally and not shared externally.
Notifications
- Push notifications may be used to announce live or scheduled broadcasts.
- You can disable notifications at any time through your device or browser settings.
Scheduling & Broadcasting
- Scheduling events requires a password.
- Only authorized users can broadcast audio.
- Public broadcasts may be archived for later playback.
Open Source
HBNI Audio is open source under the MIT License. The source code is publicly available for review.
Data Security
We take reasonable steps to protect stored data. Only limited operational data is retained.
Your Choices
- Opt out of email alerts via unsubscribe links.
- Disable push notifications in your browser or device.
- Do not submit personal information you do not wish to share.
